The Storm.

The winds were felt upon the fields days before. A new air brought in, fresher and sweeter than the air it replaced. The sun rose and fell twice to more and more clouds each day, they came with the wind. The winds came to a stop, and for just one moment there was silence. The air was charged with energy, but the energy was stagnant, simply sitting. The light came as a blinding flash, the thunder deafening as it shook the very foundation of the earth. As if activated by the lightning, the entire earth began moving. The air began vibrating with electric current, booming sound, falling rain and ice. The plant life and the animals were pulled and pushed by violent winds. The energies were so vigorous and powerful, much life was taken by the beast, and the beast raged for days. Then once again a silence fell over the land. Total stillness existed for those who would step out of shelter and back into the wilderness. The field was fresh, and the terrain was new. The beast destroyed much, and there was room for more life to be had. When one sees the storm with fear, they do not understand it, for it is truly a magnificent work of art.
